Le Petit Larousse Illustré by Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld has designed this years Petit Larousse Illustré. Translated in English as "Larousse Small Illustrated Dictionary." He is joining the ranks of French artist Moebius and designer, Christian Lacroix. The inside features a drawing by Lagerfeld of a woman blowing “the seeds of knowledge” (Larousse’s logo). On the front of the box set is a sketch of Karl next to the silver scrawled words "Habillé par Karl Lagerfeld" which translated in English, “Dressed by Karl Lagerfeld." This book, more of an encyclopedia than a dictionary, is a must have for any serious Lagerfeld lover or for those who simply enjoy a little cultural edification with their word definitions. It is due for release November 4, 2009!
